Church Plant

Our plan is to start another Church alongside the existing traditional one. We are aiming it a younger age group and specifically people outside of the church. 

We have three guiding principles.

Jesus-centred Australian Spirituality

Our spirituality is unashamedly Christian. We come from an evangelical background but seek to be faithful to the Christian history of the past 2000 years.

In addition it is through Australian eyes that we see the gospel and make it known. This is our context and informs our Christianity.

Person-centred community

Each person is special and matters to God. So they matter to us. No matter the size of the church it is made up on individuals and need individual attention.

However each one of us is part of a community of people. We need one another to help us become more like Christ.

Others-centred service

We serve one another, fulfilling the words of Jesus-“Love your neighbour.” We are part of a church to serve one another, both in the church and outside.

We are planning on starting a second service in 2010. This will be a contemporary style with more modern songs, discussions and question times, communion and a focus on serving our community.
