About us

The Church was started in 1925 after a tent mission was held by Ernie Hendrickson. 38 people responded to the call to start a church, joining another 19 people and began Wynnum Church of Christ. In December of that year the chapel was constructed and the first service was held on Sunday December 13.

Currently the church has about 30 members, many of whom have been part of the church for a considerable time. In the past year younger people have been joining the church giving us a wonderful blend of old and young. 

In 2007, in conjunction with Churches of Christ Queensland, a plan was put in place to form a parallel church plant to continue the work in Wynnum.

We hold two services each Sunday morning. See the 9am service or 2.0 page for more information.

Gareth Williams is employed as Pastor of the church and Church planter.
